Covid-19 Statement

Dear Valued Clients,

 

West Direct Express Courier ("West Direct") remains committed to the health and wellness of all of our contractors, office staff, and clients alike. The Government of Alberta lifted all public health restrictions in Alberta on June 14, 2022. West Direct has lifted our mandatory mask policy effective August 2, 2022 with the following exceptions:

• Contractors are required to carry a mask with them during operational hours as part of their Personal Protective Equipment requirement. 

• Some locations will continue to have a mask policy in effect, which our contractors must follow when on site for pickup or delivery. 

• Contractors who continue to wear a mask by choice are welcome to do so. 

 

Signatures will be allowed directly on the drivers device should both the contractor and the receiver agree, however, our driver fleet will continue to practice no-contact delivery where required. Photos of signatures can be taken in place of direct digital signature capture as well as photos of delivery locations and final product placement.

West Direct continues to monitor and adjust our protocols to best serve our customer base, our contractors and the public. Below are the current safety protocols and recommendations in place until further notice:

 

• Regular hand washing and sanitizing. 

• Continuous sanitization of the contractor's mobile device.

• Sneezing and Coughing etiquette - if you need to do so into your arm/elbow and away from others.
