Covid-19 Statement

Dear Valued Clients,


In this trying time of uncertainty, we hope you're all doing your best to stay healthy. As the situation around COVID-19 carries on, our group has been evolving and adapting to the needs of keeping everyone, including our staff and clients, safe. In Pandemic situations, our goal as the DirectIT Group Courier organization is to safely assist in the continued supply of the commerce of our client's business. We will continue to provide our services to you for as long as we can to mitigate a drastic loss to people’s livelihood. Thank you for the continued love and support as we face this challenge as a team, family, and community. 


Below are the current safety protocols in place until further notice:


Increased Personal Hygiene:

  • Masks are mandatory in all public spaces

  • Regular hand washing and sanitizing. 

  • Delivery personnel washing clothing daily. 

  • Wearing gloves at all times, and encouraging the use of eyewear

  • Avoid any hand contact with the face. 

  • Sneezing and Coughing etiquette - if you need to do so into your arm/elbow and away from others.


Social Distancing - we have provided our team with techniques to maintain social distancing. Minimum distance of 6 feet to be maintained.  


No Contact with Delivery Personnel - this includes taking pictures of the delivery instead of securing a signature image at the point of delivery. These pictures are viewable online in the same manner as signature images are. The signature capture will read “C-19” to indicate no signature was captured. 

  • Business to business deliveries - No signatures will be allowed directly on the drivers device. Name of the receiver of the package will be recorded, as well as supplementary pictures when required. We ask that all residential deliveries are to be marked as No Signature Required. If possible, please provide a phone number for the receiver of the shipment so that we can contact them at the time of delivery to advise the delivery has been made to their door (pictures will be provided at time of delivery).

  • Deliveries to Senior’s Group Residences will be made to shipping/receiving or to reception. Deliveries will not be made direct to a resident or patients door.

  • COD’s will not be accepted by our driver fleet. Please ensure that proper payment arrangements have been made with your client. 

Our Office Team - have been moved to work from home in as many cases as possible. Those still on site follow the guidelines per above.
